Data-Driven Cancer Discovery: From Command Line to Clinical Impact

Abstract: Advancements in computational technologies and the exponential growth of biological data have revolutionized cancer research. In this presentation, I will share my research in using computational approaches to decoding the interactions between tumor-microenvironment-microbiome with response to immunotherapy. I will highlight how we leverage publicly available data sets, developing machine learning models and secondary data analysis of transcriptomics data to identify novel biomarkers, therapeutic targets, and combination therapies for enhancing immunotherapy. This presentation underscores the critical role of interdisciplinary collaboration in translating computational discoveries into clinical impact, ultimately advancing precision medicine, and improving patient outcomes in cancer care.
