rdinfo - on-line doumentation system for the <PLOT79> graphics & software development package
rdinfo
Rdinfo
is an on-line information system to assist in the utilization of the <PLOT79>
graphics package and accompanying software (sf3, pretty, slides, tmacro, etc.).
It is based on the help system of the Emacs text editor, and is
self documenting: an initial screen of instructions is followed by a command
prompt. Responding with ? or h produces a list of commands.
Although it is locally extensible, rdinfo as supplied documents only the
following parts of <PLOT79>: rdinfo, the FORTRAN bit and character
primitives, the <PLOT79> directory (including driver programs such as
grapht, graph3t, and piechtt),
the PORT library, pretty, and
slides. As distributed, much of its information (for example, that
concerning the availability of specific device-related versions of programs)
is specific to the home site of <PLOT79> at the University of Utah.
